Fran Edgerley (GBR)
Partner of the architecture and design collective Assemble, with whom she works to look critically at the processes that produce our built environment. Her work is focused on the possibilities in collective and co-operative relations created by different social and environmental structures. This has meant she worked across a broad range of scales and mediums including design and build architectural projects, the creation a ceramic manufacturing business, furniture production, the initiation of an adventure playground and developing curriculums. She has taught and lectured on design, art and architecture at institutions around the world. She is currently working to develop a new social centre in London as a resource to challenge the commodification of land and property. Over the past year she has also been developing a film on the invisible architectures of language.
